Joseph E. Wooley, President

  Joseph E. Wooley  of Greenburgh was elected to the SWBOCES Board in 1998. Prior to that, he served on the Greenburgh Central 7 Board of Education for 6 1/2 years, including a 2 year term as President of the Board. He is an Attorney with a private practice, acting as a hearing officer in administrative hearings. He was a member and board member of the Westchester Putnam School Boards Association serving as President during the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 school years.

Catherine Draper, Vice President

  Catherine Draper, Vice President was elected to the SWBOCES Board in 2013, having served for nine years on the Pelham Board of Education. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Westchester Library System, board president of the Westchester Children's Association, and board president of the Pelham Education Foundation. Past volunteer positions include president of the Pelham Public Library, president of the Rotary Club of the Pelhams and the Pelham Rotary Charities Fund, member of the BEPT Teacher Center Policy Board, and president of the Junior League of Pelham. She is a graduate of Swarthmore College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

John DeSantis

  John DeSantis of Hastings-on-Hudson was elected to the BOCES Board in 1996, after having served for 18 years on the Hastings-on-Hudson Board of Education, including two terms as President. He received an Award of Excellence for School Board Service from the Mid-Hudson School Study Council. Mr. DeSantis is currently the Senior Director of Technical Services and Special Projects for the school of Arts & Sciences at New York University. He has also served on the Executive Board of the Greenburgh Council of Civic Organizations.

John V. Filiberti

  John V. Filiberti served on the Eastchester UFSD Board of Education for nine years, including one year as President. He was appointed to the Southern Westchester BOCES Board in March 2015 to fill an unexpired term and was elected the following April. He is a real estate agent and self-employed small business consultant, as well as a part-time legislative aide at the Westchester County Board of Legislators, and an occasional instructor at Pace University in Manhattan. Previously, Mr. Filiberti was a Vice President for Merrill Lynch in New York City and a former Air Traffic Controller at the Washington Air Route Traffic Control Center in Leesburg, Virginia.

Lynn Frazer-McBride

  Lynn Frazer-McBride has been a special education teacher, mentor, librarian and coach. A recent retiree, she currently works as a consultant staff developer for the New York City Department of Education. Mrs. McBride, the chair of the education committee, was first elected to the Mount Vernon School Board in 1995. During her tenure she has served as President and Vice President. Mrs. McBride was elected to the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association in 2006. She is the legislative representative for the Federal Relations and the State Legislative Networks. She also participates on the legislative and Manhattanville-WPSBA College committees. In 2008, Mrs. McBride was also elected to the Board of the Association of Small City School Districts. She is an active member of the Council of Urban Boards of Education and the Alliance of Black School Educators.

Georgia Riedel

  Georgia Riedel served for 12 years on the Harrison Board of Education, and previously served on the BOCES Board of Education. Ms. Riedel has been a member of the Westchester Putnam School Boards Association for the past 11 years and served as President of the organization during the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 academic years. She is a member of NYSSBA's Federal Relations Network and a liaison to Congresswoman Nita Lowey. She is also a member of NYSSBA's State Legislative Network and a liaison to State Sen. Suzi Oppenheimer. When she is not volunteering, Ms. Riedel is employed as a physical therapist at New York Presbyterian Hospital's Columbia campus.
